loso is an app for finding local events and planning around them with friends. It gathers what is happening nearby — shows at local venues, markets, run clubs, open mics — and lets a group decide what to go to in one place.

The name

loso is short for Locally Social, and the wordmark is lowercase. LoSo is also what Charlotte calls Lower South End, a neighborhood south of uptown. The two are unrelated: this is the app, not the district, and the block party of that name is not its event.

iOS and Android ship from one codebase, and the same product runs in a browser.

The event catalog is readable over a public HTTP API.
