A Busboys and Poetry Event hosted this week by Neko RamosNeko Ramos is an actor, writer, poet/spoken word artist, host, educator, youth advocate, and Theatre practitioner from PG county, MD. He received his BFA in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Acting from Howard University and has performed on multiple regional Theatre stages in the DC area. Neko is also passionate about using poetry and spoken word to be able to tell stories that uplift, inspire, challenge, and grow culture and community. He has performed and featured on many stages such as; “Write aBout Now”, “Trap Poetry”, “Busboys and Poets, “Voices in Power”, and Poetry Me Please. Neko is also passionate about teaching theatre, acting, and performance skills to young scholars in Washington, DC.
