Linville Gorge Wilderness, North Carolina 3 Days, 2 Nights. Tentative Date: Early November 2026 About the Expedition: This is a guided wilderness backpacking expedition through Linville Gorge. One of the most rugged and remote areas in the Southeast. Over three days and two nights, we'll carry everything we need on our backs as we descend into the Gorge, navigate steep terrain, cross rivers, and camp in the backcountry. Expect to build fires, cook meals outdoors, and spend our nights under the stars. This trip is physically demanding. Expect long hiking days, uneven terrain, changing weather, and moments that will push you outside of your comfort zone. While no backpacking experience is required, this expedition is NOT for everyone. We are looking for physically active, ambitious individuals who see a difficult trail and want to know what's at the end of it. You'll be joined by a small, co-ed group of like-minded adventurers who enjoy pushing themselves, trying new things, and collecting unforgettable experiences.
