Stolen & Lost Labor Exhibit

Goucher College Special Collections & Archives invites you to visit the exhibit “Stolen and Lost Labor.” The exhibit highlights the process of crafting a labor acknowledgement with Descendants of enslaved men and women who labored at the neighboring Hampton Plantation. This process included many discussions with Descendants on family, history, research, today’s connections to the past, and memorialization. We appreciate the time, wisdom, and knowledge of the Descendants and Goucher community members who contributed to these conversations.
