Rahul Shah Quartet

Lineup: Rahul Shah - Tenor Saxophone Steven Feifke - Piano Gavin Gray - Bass Sam Bolduc - Drums Rahul Shah is an award-winning saxophonist based in New York City. Having completed graduate studies at the Manhattan School of Music, he is currently a resident saxophone, flute, and clarinet instructor in the city. Alongside his current position, Rahul maintains a full performing and private teaching schedule. Shah made his international debut in 2024, having received first place at the Carinthia International Jazz Competition. Additionally, he was awarded second place at the 2025 Navy Band International Saxophone Symposium Jazz Competition. Shah has had the privilege to play in several professional ensembles including the GRAMMY® Award-winning Steven Feifke Big Band, the Charles Mingus Big Band, and the Jason Marshall Big Band, as well as alongside prominent musicians Jeb Patton, Pasquale Grasso, Jaleel Shaw, Marcus Printup, and Wycliffe Gordon. New releases include Steven Feifke and Ashley Pezzoti’s upcoming record recorded live at Dizzy’s Club, and Shahl’s own debut album, both set to release in 2027
