Diaspora of Belonging: Artist Talk with Jessy DeSantis

Join Jessy DeSantis for an engaging artist talk on November 7, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Joe's Movement Emporium, as part of the "Diaspora of Belonging" exhibition. DeSantis, a queer self-taught artist, will discuss their vibrant paintings that explore themes of migration, healing, and cultural reclamation rooted in their Nicaraguan heritage. This event celebrates Hispanic Latino Heritage Month and will serve as the closing reception for the exhibition, providing an opportunity to connect with the artist and their powerful message.
