Jazz Night ft. Tommy Rueckert

Tommy Rueckert is a local folk artist based out of Falls Church, VA. He has performed at classic venues such as the Cellar Door and Desperados in Georgetown, and been featured on Dick Cerri's Americana Music Showcase. He has two albums – "The Journey" (1984) and "Beneath a Tree (1998), with several songs getting air time on Mary Cliff's "Traditions" program on WETA. But mostly he enjoys playing 70s covers such as – James Taylor, Simon & Garfunkel, Dan Fogelberg, John Denver – and trying to get people to sing along with him on one of his 350 songs – "karafolke". He now performs at Three Whistles Café in Clarendon, Barrel Oak Winery, and up at the lodges on Skyline Drive in Shenandoah, where almost everyone sings along 🎸.
