Influenced by Carolina clay & tobacco farms, Kennon Knight was drawn to the musical heartbeat of the south with blues, rock, bluegrass, & folk. He began his career as a drummer playing with formidable bands & performers such as Gypsy, Faculty X, Moses Jones & the Dirty Southern Soul, Square Roots, David Childers, & more. His music has graced many stages up & down the east coast with notable stops at the Blumenthal, the Knight Theater, & The International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. Now a storyteller with some strings influenced by the talents of Tom Petty, Amos Lee, John Prine, Jason Isbell, & more he tells stories that heal hearts with love, laughter, & the knowledge that music unites us all.
