Seashells In Color | Painting From Life In Oils

Discover how much color lives inside a seemingly simple shell. Each participant will have a real seashell to observe and paint from life. We’ll begin by choosing an angle and arranging a simple composition, then explore how to translate its curves, subtle colors, and shadows into a small oil study. With step-by-step demonstrations and individual guidance from artist Kristina Dubrovskaia, you’ll practice mixing warm and cool tones, using light and shadow to create volume, and choosing which details to emphasize.
