CASA will host an interactive mock trial to introduce students to the child welfare and family court systems and the role CASA volunteers play in advocating for children. The event will simulate a foster care case and allow participants to observe how different parties, including attorneys, caseworkers, judges, and advocates. The program will also provide information about CASA of Jefferson County, volunteer opportunities, and ways students can support child advocacy in the community.
