Morgan State x Aon Firm Day: AI and the Future of Work

On Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (ATRIUM) Graves School of Business and Management hosts–in partnership with Aon–a leading professional services and insurance brokerage firm–this campus-wide event that will bring together students, faculty, administrators, and industry leaders to examine how artificial intelligence is reshaping careers, workplace practices, and the skills employers seek in emerging professionals. Although the event is being hosted by the Graves School, its focus extends beyond business and risk management. AI is transforming career pathways across virtually every discipline, making this conversation relevant to students and faculty throughout the University. The program will include: An industry panel featuring executives from Aon, TIAA, and Microsoft discussing how AI is transforming careers and workforce expectations across sectors; A faculty and industry roundtable on preparing students for AI-enabled careers; An interactive student session focused on career readiness, professional development, and the responsible use of AI; and Networking opportunities for students and faculty to engage directly with Aon professionals, industry representatives, and other participants. This initiative reflects Morgan State University’s commitment to connecting academic learning with workforce development and meaningful career preparation. It also highlights the University’s growing partnership with Aon and demonstrates how collaboration between higher education and industry can help students understand emerging workforce expectations and prepare for future opportunities.
