Hylomorphic - The Second Year MFA Exhibition

The School of Art + Design will host a reception on Thursday, September 3, 6-8pm. OPEN AND FREE TO THE PUBLIC. Every year, current graduate students in the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) program are tasked with curating and installing an exhibition that showcases the current works, questions and resolutions that these artists are working towards in their personal practice. These exhibtions are a wonderful way to see what the current cohorts are working on in relation to the world around them. A vibrant show of different mediums, sizes, materials, and visuals. Showing the community and surrounding areas the importance of these different viewpoints and artworks. There are currently fourteen artists in their second year of the MFA progam, all of which are participating. The list of artists: Oladeji Adeniji, Abbi Fitzekam, Rhonda Hamilton, Destin Hendrix, Logan Johnson, Elena Kaiser, Tina Karimi, Holly Matthews, Aida Mirzaei, Skye Plank, Gwen Putz, Claire Stromberg, Lana Traum, and Chloe Ulm. This exhibition is on view between August 31 to October 2, 2026 in Trisolini Gallery (Room 405), within Baker Center.
