LOCATION:The Commons on the Green\, 900 16th St S\, Birmingham\, AL 35205\,
  USA
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 4th Annual UAB Veterans Day 5K presented by Viv
a Health at Railroad Park — a meaningful community event dedicated to ho
noring those who have served and supporting the next generation of militar
y-connected students.\n\nSince launching in 2023\, this event has raised o
ver $33\,000 and brought together more than 1\,800 participants and 200 vo
lunteers in support of UAB veteran and dependent students. Thanks to this
 community's generosity\, we've already distributed over $9\,000 in direct
relief to students in need — covering essentials like housing\, books\,
and emergency expenses.\n\nThis year\, we're continuing our mission with e
 ven greater purpose.\n\nWhether you're a runner\, walker\, rucker\, stroll
er\, or wheelchair racer — all are welcome. Lace up to celebrate the 108
th anniversary of Armistice Day\, and join UAB Veteran Services in continu
ing a proud tradition that began right here in Birmingham in 1947.\n\nToge
 ther\, let's show our veterans they are seen\, valued\, and supported —
not just on Veterans Day\, but every day.
