DESCRIPTION:Goucher College Special Collections & Archives invites you to v
isit the exhibit “Stolen and Lost Labor.” The exhibit highlights the
process of crafting a labor acknowledgement with Descendants of enslaved m
en and women who labored at the neighboring Hampton Plantation. This proce
ss included many discussions with Descendants on family\, history\, resear
ch\, today’s connections to the past\, and memorialization. We appreciat
e the time\, wisdom\, and knowledge of the Descendants and Goucher communi
ty members who contributed to these conversations.
