 ings of Leon\; and finally garnish with the soaring harmonies of Fleetwood
  Mac?\nA cosmic gumbo from Hattiesburg\, Mississippi called Grits & Greens
 .\n\nBoasting an infectious energy\, Grits & Greens sends the listener on 
 a musical odyssey at every show—honoring their many influences in a way 
 that feels uniquely authentic. The band combines tight grooves\, catchy me
 lodies\, and charming stage presence with a keen ability to narrate the hu
 man experience: telling stories of life’s struggles\, the joys and pains
  of growing up\, and the realities of social injustice.\n\nIn 2024\, the b
 and released their debut\, self-titled album selling over 500 vinyl copies
  in a matter of weeks. Following the release of their first live album\, 
 ‘Live at Purple Bee\,’ in 2025\, the band has just released their late
 st single\, “So Much Fun.” With recording\, mixing\, mastering done so
 lely by the band and the lyrics a picture of the struggles and triumphs of
  an up-and-coming band\, the song truly embodies the tenacious\, DIY spiri
 t of Grits & Greens. Through the generosity of their loyal fan-base\, the 
 band was afforded the opportunity to visit the legendary Fame Studios in M
 uscle Shoals\, AL in early January 2026 where they recorded what they feel
  is their best work yet. The first single from their time in Muscle Shoals
 \, “Answers\,” was released on April 21st\, 2026 and their second sing
 le from this session\, “Play it Cool\,” released on June 16th.
