rry BrokusJim Pattonand his wife and musical collaborator\, percussionistS
herry Brokus\, have a gift for turning everyday moments into songs with de
eper meaning. Their new album\, Pattonville\, on Berkalin Records\, turns
that gift toward the past\, gathering tales from years gone by\, told from
a deeply personal perspective. The album reached #2 on the Folk DJ Charts
in June 2026\, and Goldmine Magazine's Lee Zimmerman calls each song "a s
ingular standout\, brimming with feeling\, finesse and an unmistakable emo
tional bond." Critic Geoffrey Himes praises "the distinctive body of work
the duo has created over four decades."Following the full-band rock 'n' ro
ll of Two True Loves\, Pattonville trades some of that energy for reflecti
on\, finding in old stories the roots of the present and the common ground
  we all share.
